Project

Vinny Lunar is an Australian-Indian rapper and RnB singer. For the launch of his latest EP, in collaboration with Common Confusement, we handled the direction, set design and concept of a music video for his 1st single "Far From Fine". After the production of the video we also created 3 pieces of single artwork to bring a sense of cohesion to the overall art direction of his release.

Concept

For the concept of the video we focused on creating an almost dream-like surreal atmosphere through colorful lighting, hazy rooms and creative off-kilter camera shots. The style was chosen to reflect the songs themes of paranoia, self-doubt and mental health issues. We also incorporated subtle nods to the artists’ Indian culture and roots.
