Channel Surfer is a Berlin-based American electronic musician. For the release of his 3rd EP "Technopaganism" we handled the visual identity, art direction and digital media collateral for his release to multiple streaming platforms and social media.

Concept

The theme of the EP being technopaganism (the use of modern technology or music within neopaganism and magical ritual) we wanted to create a visual style that felt slightly occult and gothic, yet futuristic at the same time. To achieve this concept we utilized old-style serif and black-letter fonts with a futuristic chromatic overlay effect. For the color-palette we chose a minimal deep-blue and black palette, which felt both ethereal and dark yet futuristic and digital.
